Chest shops let you sell to other players directly, at your price rather than the Bazaar's. Good for anything the Bazaar values poorly, and for things with no Bazaar entry at all.
Making one
- Place a chest inside your claim.
- Left-click it while holding the item you want to sell.
- Type the price in chat.
- Stock the chest. An empty shop sells nothing.
Costs
| To create a shop | $100 |
| Tax on each sale | 5%, paid by the seller |
| Shops per player | unlimited |
The tax comes off your side, not the buyer's — a sign that says $100 costs the buyer exactly $100 and pays you $95. Price accordingly.
Commands
/qs find <item>— find who is selling something/qs suggestprice— a starting point if you have no idea/qs price <amount>— repricing, aimed at the shop/qs remove— take it down
The catch
Shops only exist inside claims, and a shop is deleted when its claim goes — if the claim is abandoned, expires, is resized so the chest falls outside it, or the trust that let you build there is revoked. Keep your shops well inside your own claim, not on the edge of somebody else's.
