/path commits you to one of five specialisations. Between them they cover all
ten Bazaar categories with no overlap, so every item on the market belongs
to exactly one specialist.
| Prospector | ores, blocks, nether |
| Cultivator | farming, food |
| Forester | wood, misc |
| Hunter | mob drops, end |
| Artificer | redstone |
Mastery — permanent, yours
Selling inside your field earns Mastery XP. Mastery has 25 levels and spends into a tree that forks at tier 2: Merchant for better margins, Producer for better volume. Mastery is never lost, never decays, and tops out at +8% on sells.
Standing — contested, weekly
Standing is a ladder, scored on a rolling 7 days, settled every Sunday at 20:00 at the Reckoning. Titles are a fraction of the ranked players on your path, so they get harder to hold as a path gets busier:
| Grandmaster | top 5% · +4% on sells |
| Master | next 10% · +2.5% |
| Journeyman | next 20% · +1% |
A path needs at least 4 ranked traders before it awards anything, and you have to have traded within the last 14 days to be ranked at all. Old scores drop out of the window — a huge week does not carry you forever.
Stacked at their best, Mastery and Standing are worth +12% on sells over an unspecialised player. That is the whole ceiling; there is nothing above it.
Changing your mind
/path switch then /path confirm. It costs $5,000 plus $750 per
Mastery level you are giving up, and you can only do it once every 14 days. Switching at
Mastery 20 costs $19,250 — deliberately steep, because a path you can abandon freely is not
a specialisation.
