Tier I · Trial — one prepared player
A wither skeleton that got old and did not stop. He fights like something that used to command people and still expects to.
| Recommended | One player, in full diamond or better |
| Health | 450 — a little over five times a wither skeleton |
| Hits for | 9 before your armour |
| Reward | Rust King Trophy — around $2,000 |
What he does
- Calls his court. Roughly every 25 seconds below 70% health he summons two minions. They die with him, so killing him ends the fight — but ignoring them for too long is how a winnable fight stops being one.
- Sets the ground alight under you, about every 18 seconds. Standing still to trade hits is the mistake this punishes.
- Throws you when you crowd him. Fighting with a drop behind you is your problem, not his.
How people beat him
He is slow. Almost everything he does rewards moving and punishes standing, so treat him as a fight you walk backwards through rather than one you stand and win. Bring more food than you think and something to put fire out.
He is meant to be about an Ender Dragon: long, dangerous, and winnable alone if you came ready. If he is not, say so — that calibration is a guess until people fight him.
